This year SWE Austin is working on starting new SWENext Clubs for K-12 students in the Austin area and beyond, and we’re kicking it off at LASA!

The goal of this event is to introduce SWENext and to identify enthusiastic students to serve as founders for a new SWENext Club at their school. We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to join us in speaking to the students. By sharing your story, you’ll help us get students excited about the possibilities of a career in STEM and inspire them to take on this leadership role.

Looking for other ways to get involved? Join the SWENext Committee to help establish and mentor SWENext Clubs and inspire the next generation of engineers! We are looking for a Vice-Chair as well as members and volunteers.

To speak at LASA and/or join the committee, please email swenext.austintexas@gmail.com.
